Senior Lawyer in the Litigation and Private Client Department
Afroditi completed her studies in law at the University of Leeds in the UK. After obtaining her LLB with an honours degree in 2010 she acquired an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham.
After her graduation she underwent and successfully completed her training she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2012, and was hired at at a well known law firm in Paphos where she later became a senior litigation lawyer and team leader of the litigation department.
Afroditi’s litigation expertise ranges across several areas including banking law, (with experience on Swiss Franc mortgage claims) tort law, (with an emphasis on negligence, claims against insurance companies and land disputes), family law, criminal law and other general civil litigation areas like rent-control law, management committees, labour disputes and injunctive relief.
Contract law, equity & trusts law, as well as European human rights law, are topics Afroditi additionally specializes on in an academic level as a lecturer at the Alexander College (Paphos Dept.), in collaboration with the University of West England.
As well as conducting numerous trials before Courts, she has also managed to settle an amount of cases out of the court in favour of her client.
Afroditi is a fluent speaker of English, Greek and Finnish can advise and represent clients in the said languages without any reservations.
Afroditi joined LG Zambartas LLC in December 2017.
