Jeanette Truscott - Senior Lawyer Paphos Office.

Jeanette completed a degree in Business Studies in the first instance, majoring in HR, but later moved on to complete a law conversion course. From there she successfully took her Bar exams. Post-qualification Jeanette specialized in employment law and employee relations (trade union law), and subsequently gained a Masters degree in this area from the University of Leicester. Jeanette qualified and spent many years teaching law to both undergraduate students, including many from Greece and Cyprus, and to post-graduate management students, including the MBA programme and also short courses (Continuing Professional Education) for the legal profession in the south West of England.

During her academic career Jeanette founded a Student Law Clinic, which was one of the first in the UK, having received a grant to research the concept in the USA for one month at UCon Law School – the University of Connecticut Law Faculty.  This meant that final year law students acted for local people on a pro-bono basis in a variety of matters where they had rights of audience.

In 2001 Jeanette took early retirement from academia, but continued with her private legal consultancy work that had previously existed alongside her academic duties, in the area of employment law.  In particular she specialised in services to small to medium sized companies, as well as sub-contracting her expertise to other law firms in her locality in the South West of England.


Jeanette moved to Cyprus in April 2006, and her skills were transferred to the area of property, Wills and contract law generally. She joined L.G Zambartas LLC in October 2010 and has applied her skills and knowledge to the Cypriot legal system in order to be able to continue to both assist non-Cypriots with holiday home purchases and Paphos residents of all nationalities with their legal requirements.

Directions to L. G. Zambartas LLC – Paphos Lawyers

From Limassol

1. Go to end of Limassol –Paphos Highway

2. At the roundabout at the end, go straight across but keep in the left-hand lane

3. At the first set of traffic lights you come to, turn left for the town centre

4. As you turn left, immediately on your left is the Maispa Offices and the Volvo garage. On your left you will see Theophanous Supermarket a little further on, on your right, you will see a large Bank of Cyprus. Very soon after on your left is a small Laiki Bank. Just after the Laiki Bank on your left is a large Alpha Bank.

5. Turn 2nd left immediately after the Alpha Bank and approx 150 metres on the right you will see a Relax Take Away.  Turn up the side of it into our Car Park.

6. Go into the lobby of the building from the car park and up to the second floor.  Turn right out of the lift and we are Office 201.

From Peyia Direction

1. Go to Paphos along Tomb of the Kings Road. At the Kings Hotel traffic lights (by Phuket restaurant) turn left. 

2. Go past Orphanides Supermarket on your right and carry on to the T Junction at the end by the car showroom. Turn left and follow the road through the various traffic lights to the T junction at the top of the hill (Gladstonos).  Police Station just ahead of you on the right.

3. Turn right and immediate left past the police station all the way to the traffic lights at the side of the new Laiki Bank. Go straight across the traffic lights.  As you go along you will pass Pizza Hut on your right, Eden flowers on your right, Ampersand furniture and curtains on your left and then 4U, a large shoe shop on your left.

4. A few shops on from 4U on your left you will see Cartridge World and MTN.  We are two doors along in the building above the Relax Take Away.  Turn up the side of Relax to enter our car park. 

5. Go into the lobby of the building from the car park and up to the second floor.  Turn right out of the lift and we are Office 201.

From Tala/Emba Direction

1. On the main Paphos to Chlorakas road go past the EKO garage and follow the road round, past Zorbas bakery on the right, the Turkish cemetery on your left and further on Time Out kiosk on your left. A short way after Time Out there is a set of lights with a narrow left turn past Pentaras Motors on the corner.  Turn left and follow the road to the end.

2. At the T junction at the end of the narrow road (furniture shop on right and office furniture on the left), turn left and head towards the traffic lights at the end.  You will be alongside the large Papantoniou supermarket at this point.

3. Go straight across at the lights and the road will bend to the left, with a large window company on your left – Mardoor. Follow the road along past St George’s Hospital on your left, a bakery on your right and then a small parade of shops with a small Hellenic Bank at the end of the row.

4. Turn right after the Hellenic and before the Alpha Bank. Approx 150 metres on the right you will see a Relax Take Away.  Turn up the side of it into our Car Park.

5. Go into the lobby of the building from the car park and up to the second floor.  Turn right out of the lift and we are Office 201.
